Granny Takes a Trip

Granny takes a trip was a very popular boutique in the 60's and 70's that changed the way clothes were sold forever. The owners pioneered 'vintage' and authenticity by trading original Victorian and Edwardian garments. These were supplemented be the creations of a tailor named John Pearse who used exotic/ interesting fabrics to create modern dandy styles.

Among the first customers were the Beatles and Rolling Stones who wore Granny's on the covers of revolver and Between the Buttons.
