Kultural Park Plänterwald :.. where fun goes to die.
Ventured out to the remains of East Berlin's only theme park... After German reunification the park saw a steady decline in visitors which led to its closure in 2002.
Not too long after shutting down, the owner of the park was sentenced to 7 years in jail after attempting to smuggle 180 kg of cocaine with a value of £14 million from Peru to Germany in the masts of a "flying carpet" ride.
